Boys and Girls in Grades 1-8 and Boys in Grades 9-12 are eligible for the North Reading Youth Basketball's Town Program. The NRYB Town program typically starts after Thanksgiving and runs until early March...10 weeks total. 

Games for the 2025-2026 season are scheduled to begin on Saturday, December 6. There are no games on 12/27 and 2/14. Holiday weekends may be used for make up games if needed. *Schedule is subject to change. Coaches will announce the final schedule at the beginning of the season.. 

Players in First and Second Grade will have a one hour combination skills/practice/scrimmage session per week. First and Second Graders will play on Saturdays at a NR Elementary School.

There are no pre-season evaluations at this level. 

This division does not need to order a reversible jersey. Players will receive a NRYB shirt on the first week of the season.

Players in Grades 3 and above will have a one hour weekday practice and one hour weekend game. Practices will take place on weekday evenings at a NR Elementary School and are determined by our Volunteer Coach's availability. Games will take place on Saturdays and be held at a NR Elementary School or the NR MS/HS.

Player Evaluations will take place prior to the beginning of the season in order to create equal competitive teams. 

Evaluations for the In Town Teams in grades 3-8 will take place in late September / early October. The purpose of the evaluation is for the coaches to see everyone play and then split them up in to equal, competitive teams. Players should bring a basketball and water bottle to the evaluations.
